I use the very old Tamyia 1/35 British SAS Jeep WW2 Kit (35033) for making this small diorama. I also use a small kit from Eduard and I didn’t use the kits figures. The diorama is placed in North Africa and the unit is lost. They approach the old temple ruins with caution and then the driver got out in order to find out where are they. The co driver is astonished by the Egyptian hieroglyphics.
I also made several parts from scratch, like the nets and the wooden box on the front bumper. I also make all the belts from the sacks and the small water canister between the co driver legs. Painting and chipping was really a problem for me because it’s actually my very first attempt in this scale. I usually make WW2 planes in 1/48. The wall (with the hieroglyphics) and the columns’ are resin parts but the base and the bricks are scratch built. I hope you like it as much I did making it. Thanks for
looking…
