This is simple vignette with a couple of old Tamiya figures and DML lady with bicycle about life in Malayan during Malayan Emergency era,

The Malayan Emergency was a guerrilla war fought between Commonwealth armed forces and the Malayan Communist guerrilla from 1948 to 1960, under the Briggs Plan some 500,000 rural Malayans were forced relocate from squatter communities on the fringes of the forests into guarded camps called New Villages.

This vignette is set during this period where food restriction order in place, all villagers passing the Check point will be ID check and search. National Identity Card “IC” have been introduce to counter Communism, anyone questioned and cannot produce one will immediately be suspect as bandit, A Chinese villager was on the way to rubber plantation in one typical morning, 2 Malayan police were at the check point asking for ID…..” Ah Sou..IC ..IC ..Check”..
