1/35 Tamiya/Lee T34 & Dragon's Russian Infantry Riders

The Lee T34 is just the Tamiya cast off - from an old mold which means the parts have lost their sharpness and gained some flash but the kit is essentially good and cheap if bought here in China (it just needs a bit more work).

I built it OOB painted with some horrible Chinese enamels and heavily washed/streaked with oils. The turret ID was handpainted.

The figures are typically Dragon early generation.  You get four in the box though I only used three here (the fourth is a character standing in a greatcoat so he doesn't really fit with these three).  I painted these with oils too - which worked well enough here but was an experiment I didn't continue with.

The base is from a CD case with a thin layer of plaster and real dusty dirt heavily washed.

And that's it.  Nothing so special but the figures are a good dramatic touch which give the scene excitement and movement I think.
