These three war time vehicles were done in memory of their driver Lt. Cpl. Edward S. Glendinning. Lt. Cpl. Glendinning served with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (3rd Cdn. Div.) in Canada, United Kingdom and Continental Europe from 1942-1945.

The subjects:

  • 1/35 scale USA Willys MB Jeep -- 1/4 ton 4x4 unit -- by Tamiya .. a straight forward built without complications.

  • 1/35 scale British BSA M20 Motorcycle (BSA.. Birmingham Small Arms Comp.) -- by Tamiya .. also a straight forward built without complications.

  • 1/35 scale British WWII AEC Matador 4x4 Gun Tractor (Late) -- by Accurate Armour (Scotland) .. a complete highly detailed model in polyurethane resin and photo etched brass. Not a beginners kit, but certainly challenging.

This was my first full resin kit and certainly a step up from my usual resin cockpit details.

Paint and Decals:

All three subjects were painted with Model Master, Humbrol and Tamiya paints.  Decals were all supplied by the manufacturers.

Thanks for looking and happy modeling.
