X-Acto saw blade

Tools 'n' Tips Article by Steve Bamford

This is a basic little tool that doesn't need much description.  It's just the LARGE X-acto handle with a saw blade inserted into it.  The blade has very coarse teeth and is best suited for rough work.....such as cutting resin pieces from resin casting blocks (always use a proper face mask to avoid breathing resin dust...it is deadly for the health of your lungs).  My one tiny complaint about this blade is that it's a bit thin, so it has a tendancy to bend if you get rough or careless with it while sawing.  In the hands of a mildly attentive person it works just fine.  In other words....don't us it if you're reading something on the computer or watching TV.....and never use it if your wife is talking to you....she won't like that.    Price for this set-up is under US$10.
